My Husband had a series of strokes in sept-oct 2012. Life has changed for us, as I am his caregiver now. This being home all the time gives me a chance to be creative like never before. I'm so gratful he is alive and has been getting better over time, with lots of hard work in Physical & Occupational therapies. I'm also gratful for the chance to be home and explore my creativity. It's a matter of perspective...I could think of the obvious disadvantages...less income, caregiving, my husbands problems, etc... I prefer to look at life with a mindset of grattitude and focus on the good parts.
I have opened an etsy shop, and have sold some things from around the house on Ebay. This is my new work, and I love it. Visit my shop at www.HattieBizzle.etsy.com I would love for you to see what I've been up to! I will also be opening another shop soon for selling vintage items. I'll keep you posted.
I would love to hear what you like to do in your spare time. What inspires you most? I find the most inspiration from nature, but also people that have been in my life. Virginia a retired home ec teacher, was a good friend of mine when I was a young girl. She taught me to sew, and thanks to her I had a lot of unique clothes to wear. Pearl, 96 years old was my best friend. Pearl taught me to make dolls, and to cook and can. These two Women enriched my life in so many ways. God Bless them for taking the time to teach a child from their vast knowledge of life, and art. I hope to get comments on your inspiration, and what you do for your fun!
To the moon and back,
Hattie
